Inter-ministerial seminar of Directors and Managers of information systems or IT of the Public Administration

On Wednesday 14 September 2022 in Brazzaville, the Minister Delegate at the Prime Minister's Office, in charge of State Reform, organized an interministerial seminar of Directors and Managers of Information or Computer Systems of the Public Administration. At the end of this meeting, several recommendations were made, including the setting up of an institutional portal.

Inauguration of SUNU headquarters

Thierry Brou Kouadio and Dimitri Iriyé, respectively Director General of Insurance and Director General of the CEMAC zone (Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa) of the SUNU Insurance Group, unveiled the plaque of the brand new headquarters of the insurance company ‘’SUNU Insurance IARD Congo’’, a new subsidiary of the said Group. The event was attended by Jean Pierre Nonault, Director General of National Financial Institutions, representing Rigobert Roger Andely, Minister of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio; Jean Charles Ondonda, Secretary General of the Department of Pointe-Noire, representing Prefect Honoré Paka; Edmond Loemba, Secretary General of the Pointe-Noire City Council, representing Mayor Jean François Kando; as well as civil and military administrative authorities.

Tax Debt Collection for 2017-2020 periods

Directorate General of Taxation and State property (DGID)

In order to clean up the file of outstanding taxes, increase the level of non-oil revenue and allow taxpayers to clear their tax debts from the period 2017 to 2020, the Ministry of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio has put in place incentives contained in the Memorandum No. 0298/MFBPP-CAB. On Tuesday 30 August 2022, in Brazzaville, Séraphin Ndion, Director of General Audits and Research, acting for Ludovic Itoua, Director General of Taxes and Domains (DGID), explained the rationale of this Memorandum to journalists. He explained in particular the different stages of the procedure that debtors must follow to benefit from the abatements ranging from 30 to 80%.
