The Board of Directors of the Development Bank of Central African States (BDEAC) met on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, by videoconference, at the Bank's headquarters in Brazzaville (Republic of Congo). The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ludovic Ngatsé, Minister Delegate in charge of Budget, representing Mr. Rigobert Roger Andely, Minister of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio.

The Ministerial Committee of the Central African Monetary Union (UMAC) held an Extraordinary Meeting by video Conference on Wednesday 19 May 2021. The Congolese government was represented by Ludovic Ngatsé, Minister Delegate for the Budget, representing Roger Rigobert-Andely, Minister of the Economy, Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio, and by his colleague Ingrid Olga Ghislaine Ebouka-Babackas, Minister of Planning, Statistics and Regional Integration.

The Congolese Minister, Delegate for the Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé, representing the Minister of Finance, Budget and Public Portfolio, Roger Rigobert Andely, and his colleague from the Economy, Planning and Regional Integration, Ingrid Olga Ghislaine Ebouka-Babackas, participated on Tuesday 18 May 2021 by videoconference from Yaounde, headquarters of the Bank of Central African States (BEAC), in the meeting of the Ministerial Committee of the Central African Monetary Union (UMAC). The meeting was chaired by Cameroon's Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motazé.

Chaired by Calixte Nganongo, Congolese Minister of Finance and Budget, represented by his colleague Ludovic Ngatsé, Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, the meeting of Ministers of the Economy, Finance, Budget and Integration, on the operationalization of the Compensation, Cooperation and Development Fund of the Economic Community of Central African States (FCCD-AC) took place on Wednesday 5 May 2021 by videoconference in Brazzaville, the capital of Congo, which holds the incumbent presidency of the ECCAS.

The Committee of Experts of the Member States of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) met on Friday 30 April 2021 in a workshop, by videoconference from Brazzaville (Congo), under the chairmanship of Bernard Ngazo, President of the Bureau. The review of the draft project of the operationalization of the Compensation, Cooperation and Development Fund for Central Africa (FCCD-AC) was on the agenda.

Congo/France cooperation

The Congolese Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, accompanied by his colleague in charge of Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé, and the French Minister Delegate to the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs, in charge of Foreign Trade and Attractiveness, Franck Riester, signed, on Friday 16 April 2021 in Brazzaville, an amendment to the Agreement, extending the period of suspension of the Congolese debt service to France until 30 June 2021.

13th Ordinary Meeting of the PREF-CEMAC COPIL

The 13th ordinary meeting of the Steering Committee (COPIL) of the Economic and Financial Reform Program of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (PREF-CEMAC) was held by videoconference on Thursday, April 15, 2021 in Brazzaville. Under the auspices of its Chairman, Gilbert Ondongo, Congolese Minister of State in charge of Economy, Industry and Public portfolio. He was assisted by Ludovic Ngatsé, Congolese Minister in charge of Budget. Five integrating projects will start in 2021.

Congo-China Cooperation

As part of the implementation of the G-20 Debt Service Suspension Initiative (ISSD) of April 2020, Calixte Nganongo, Congolese Minister of Finance and Budget, and Mâ Fulin, Ambassador of the China People's Republic, signed an Agreement to cancel part of Congo's debt. This cancellation mainly concerns two interest-free loans due in December 2020, worth 7.8 billion F CFA.
