The Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, and his colleague in charge of the Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé, on Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Brazzaville, met with a delegation of the World Bank led by Abdoulaye Seck, Director of Operations of this financial institution in Congo, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

Under the chairmanship of Ludovic Ngatsé, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, the National Economic and Financial Committee of Congo met in ordinary session, by videoconference, Monday, November 30, 2020, in Brazzaville. The press release was read by Michel Dzombala, Secretary-General of SNEF and National Director of the Bank of Central African States (BEAC).

Wednesday 25 November 2020 in the Congolese capital, representatives of banks and microfinance institutions, justice and civil society actors working in the field of consumer rights, coaches and students in economics at the University Marien Ngouabi and the leaders of the Chamber of Commerce of Brazzaville agreed to set up, in the coming days, a financial mediation body to propose an amicable and non-coercive settlement of financial disputes.

Four members of the Congolese government signed on Tuesday 24 November 2020 in Brazzaville, the Investment Agreement for the construction of a new refinery by Beijing Fortune Dingheng Investment Co. Ltd, in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Pointe-Noire.

Three ministers representing the Congolese government (namely : Calixte Nganongo, in charge of Finance and Budget; Rosalie Matondo, of Forest Economy; and Pierre Mabiala, of Land Affairs, Public Domain and Relations with Parliament) signed an emphyteutic lease agreement with the Forest Neutral Congo (FNC) company, represented by its Managing Director, Bernard Cassagne. The ceremony took place on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 in the main hall of the Ministry of Finance in Brazzaville.  

On Wednesday 21 October 2020 at the headquarters of the Ministry of Finance and Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé, Minister Delegate for the Budget, held a press conference, in front of the national and international press, on the mechanisms for paying the domestic debt. 300 billion CFA francs are available, via the Brazzaville Club N0.1, for the first part. 

On Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 October 2020 in Washington (USA), the virtual meeting of the Bureau of the Africa Group II of Governors of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB), as well as the Plenary of the International Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC), were held by videoconference. The Republic of Congo participated through the Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, Governor of the IMF for his country, represented by his colleague in charge of the Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé.

Died Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at the Central Army Hospital Pierre Mobengo in Brazzaville, the Director General of the Agency for the Regulation of Remittances (ARTF), Robert Jean-Raphaël Massamba Debate was taken to his final resting place, Thursday, October 15 of the same month, at the cemetery in the city centre.

On the occasion of the 29th anniversary of La Congolaise de gestion et de loterie, société anonyme (COGELO S.A), Guy Roger Moigni, its Managing Director, held a press conference on Monday 12 October 2020 at the company's headquarters in Brazzaville. He announced a three-year Strategic Development Plan to save the company.

The Congolese Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, accompanied by his colleague Delegate for the Budget, Ludovic Ngatsé, and the Representative-Resident of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Congo Maleye Diop, exchanged, Tuesday, October 8, 2020 in Brazzaville, on the return of the Republic of Congo to the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI), for which the UNDP provides the Secretariat.
