On Thursday, June 21, 2018, the Congolese government (represented by the Minister of Finance and Budget, honourable Calixte Nganongo) and the World Bank (represented by its director of operations, Jean Christophe Carret) signed two financing agreements for the diversification of the economy and statistics in Brazzaville.
On Wednesday, June 13, 2018, the Congolese Minister of Finance and Budget, honourable Calixte Nganongo and the chairman of the National Committee for the Political Advisory Conference of the Chinese People, Wang Yang, visited the main office of the Banque Sino-Congolaise pour l'Afrique (BSCA).
On Monday, May 7, 2018, in Brazzaville, the Congolese Minister of Finance, honourable Calixte Nganongo, along with his fellow, Minister of Health and Population, had talks in his office with Mrs. Marcia Cobas Ruiz, Cuban deputy Minister of Public Health of Cuba, who was with her Ambassador in Congo, H.E. Mr. Manuel Serrano Acosta.
The Ministers of Finance, the chairmen of regional financial institutions and the governors of central banks of the franc area met from Thursday 12 to Friday 13 April, 2018 at kintele, in the northern suburb of Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo, under the chairmanship of honourable Calixte Nganongo, Congolese Minister of Finance and Budget, in the presence of the French Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Bruno Le Maire.
On April 10, 2018, the Head of State, Denis Sassou Nguesso, cut the ribbon in Brazzaville, on the occasion of the official inauguration of the main office of the Banque Sino Congolaise pour l'Afrique (BSCA-Bank). The construction works amounted to 35 billion CFA francs.
The 3rd round of negotiations between the Congolese government and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for the signing of a three-year financial and economic programme was opened on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 in Brazzaville by the Minister of Finance and Budget, honourable Calixte Nganongo.
On Wednesday, March 21, 2018, the Congolese Minister of Finance and Budget, honourable Calixte Nganongo, had talks in his office with the Ambassador of France to Congo, Bertrand Cochery, in Brazzaville (Republic of the Congo).
At the meeting held on Tuesday 20, March 2018 that the Minister of Finance and Budget, honourable Calixte Nganongo, had with economic operators, he ordered an accounting and financial audit of the commercial domestic debt for the period January 2014 to December 2016. The task has been assigned to ERNST&YOUNG and CACOGES, two firms incorporated and existing under the laws of the Republic of the Congo.
The conference was held on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in Brazzaville by the Minister of Finance and Budget, honourable Calixte Nganongo. Congolese executives and three experts from the Rwandan Ministry of Finance and Planning also attended the conference.The experts made presentations on many themes.
The Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, visited the autonomous payroll counting center of the Army and the Gendarmerie on Saturday, February 24, 2018 in Brazzaville (Republic of the Congo), along with his fellow in charge of national defense, Brigadier General, Charles Richard Mondjo.
