The last ordinary session-2023 of the Executive Committee of the EITI-Congo National Committee was held, Friday December 29 and Saturday December 30, in Brazzaville, under the chairmanship of the Congolese Minister of Economy and Finance, Mr. Jean -Baptiste ONDAYE. At the end of the work, the participants validated and adopted the 2021 Report, which was on the agenda.

The concern that led to this meeting was Decree No. 2023-1579, of September 19, 2023, setting out the terms of reimbursement of domestic commercial and social arrears.
Wednesday, December 20, 2023 in Douala (Cameroon), the Shareholders of this Development Bank of Central African States (BDEAC), under the presidency of Mr. Fortunato-Ofa Mbo Nchama, Minister of Finance and Budget of Equatorial Guinea , current Chairman of the Board of Directors, unanimously reaffirmed their commitment to continuing the Reforms undertaken as part of the 2023-2027 “Azobé” Strategic Plan. They welcomed this reform which, according to them, strengthens the regulatory corpus which evolved significantly during the 2023 financial year.
Monday, December 18, 2023, at the (BEAC) Agency in Douala (Cameroon), the last ordinary Board of Directors of this financial institution of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) was held, for the year 2023. This session also marked the end of the mandate of the Republic of Congo as rotating chairman of the Board of Directors of this Central Bank common to the six States, namely Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Chad.
Thursday December 14 and Friday December 15, 2023 in Brazzaville, the National Assembly, then the Senate, respectively adopted, in plenary sessions, the Congolese state finance law, fiscal year 2024.
