6th Ordinary Sessions of the National Assembly and the Senate

The Prime Minister, Head of Government, Clément Mouamba, took note of the recommendations made by the members of the Parliament following the Budget Orientation Debate (BOD) 2020-2022. This commitment was made during the two plenary sessions on Monday 12 August 2019, held on the eve of the closing of the 6thordinary sessions of the two Houses of Parliament, which opened on 2 June at the Palais des Congrès in Brazzaville.

Closing of the 8th Edition of the Forum of Senior Budget Officials of Afritac centre Member States (FOHBAC)

The Brazzaville Forum, which opened on Monday 11, ended on Friday 15 March 2019. Participants adopted a three-fold roadmap for the period 2019-2023, and appointed, for a two-year term, the new president of FOHBAC. It is the Congolese Nicolas Okandzi, Director General of Budget, represented by Théodor Assounga, his Director of Balance, who closed the work.

8th Edition of the Forum of Senior Budget Officals of the Afritac centre Member States (FOHBAC)

The 8thedition of the Forum of Senior Budget Officials of the Member States of the IMF's Technical Assistance Regional Centre for central Africa (Afritac centre) was opened Monday 11 March 2019 in Brazzaville, by Henri Loundou cabinet director, representing the the Congolese Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo.

Parliament – The State budget for 2019 financial year adopted at the sum of 2067 billion 673 million F CFA

The Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, presented the budget of Congo-Brazzaville – 2019 financial year, in front of the National Assembly, Thursday 20, and the Senate, Friday 21 December 2018. These two houses of the Parliament adopted this financial bill unanimously, with amendment, to the sum of 2067 billion 673 million F CFA, against 1602 billion 600 million FCFA in 2018, an increase of more than 465 billion FCFA.

Parliament - draft budget of the State's fiscal year 2019 to be approved by the members of parliament and senators

The Minister of Finance and Budget, Calixte Nganongo, presented on Saturday 27 and Monday 29 October 2018, at the National Assembly and the Senate, the financial bill 2019. It is set at 2,323 billion 448 million F CFA in revenue, and 1,753 billion 608 millions de F CFA in expenditures. And results in a budget surplus of 569 billion 840 millions F CFA.

Ministry of Finance and Budget - Opening of Ministerial Budget Conferences

In preparation for the State budget of 2019 fiscal year, the Ministry of Finance and Budget initiated ministerial budget conferences. The workshops that were launched on Monday 10 September 2018 in the conference hall of the Ministry, were chaired by the Director of cabinet Henri Loundou, assisted by Ferdinand Likouka, Chief of staff of the Ministry of planning, statistics and regional integration, Franck Corneille Mampouya-Mbama, Director of planning and development, and Nicolas Okandzé, Director General of the Budget (DGB).

Congolese Finance Act for 2018 - The Parliament adopts a budget of 1602 billion CFA francs or so in terms of revenues against 1383 billion in terms of expenditure
